FRANTIC BLEEP: New Album Update

October 6, 2007

Bassist Eywin Sundstrøm of Norway's FRANTIC BLEEP has issued the following update:

"For the first time in a long while, the work on the new album is going steadily. Patrick [Scantlebury, guitar] and Lars Gunnar [Morastseter, guitar] have been working on finishing the guitar tracks, and they have one more song left before they're done. As soon as they're finished I'll start preparing and recording the bass tracks in my home studio. BP Kirkevaag (MADDER MORTEM) is working on lyrics and vocal ideas for the album.

"We're all very excited about the album and it will be awesome!

"In case you didn't know, Mr. Kjetil Foseid will not sing on the album."

Eywin Sundstrøm previously wrote: "This slideshow [view below] shows the evolution of FRANTIC BLEEP. The first half consists of clips from 'Fluctuadmission' and 'The Sense Apparatus', the second half consists of two long clips of two new songs from the upcoming album, performed live at the Aurora Festival in 2005. The sound quality of the live clips isn't the best but you'll get an impression of how the new material sounds. There's also some unseen photos of the band in the studio and live. I dedicate this to the fans. You rock!!!"

FRANTIC BLEEP previously stated that the follow-up to its critically acclaimed debut, "The Sense Apparatus", would contain eight tracks and have a running time of approximately 40 minutes.

"The Sense Apparatus" was released in Europe in February 2004 via Elitist Records.
